All aboard at the Maritime Museum of San Diego for BOARDED! A New Pirate Adventure presented by San Diego Pirate Adventures. This hilarious interactive show puts visitors right in the middle of the pirate action. Participants will board at the Museum docks and be sworn in as part of the ship crew, trained how to navigate, sword fight, bail water from a sinking ship, escape from the King’s Jail, swab the deck and other pirate skills. The Maritime Museum of San Diego is diving into the future of ocean exploration with the incredible SRS FUSION ROV, developed right here in San Diego by Strategic Robotic Systems. 🔬🌊This next-generation remotely operated vehicle uses advanced navigation sensors to autonomously collect underwater data. During a recent museum survey, the FUSION completed a side-scan sonar mission that mapped the seafloor and detected objects of interest — revealing new insights into our maritime environment.
