Kansas City Barbeque to Host the Military for Thanksgiving!
For the last 40+ years, Kansas City Barbeque has provided Thanksgiving dinner at no charge to active duty military personnel. The idea originated when the owner, Martin Blair was growing up in San Diego. His parents would always invite a couple of enlisted sailors who didn’t have any local family to share Thanksgiving dinner. Martin and his wife Cindy opened the Kansas City Barbeque in 1983 and have always enjoyed a good Navy relationship.
