Talking Turtles: World Sea Turtle Special Edition Presented by Living Coast Discovery Center
Sunday, June 18 at 2 PM Each year, hundreds of sea turtles receive critical injuries from boat strikes. An expected outcome for this type of injury is a buoyancy imbalance which can negatively affect their quality of life and make them unable to survive in the wild. The Living Coast is home to an Atlantic green sea turtle and a Loggerhead sea turtle that both have sustained permanent injuries from a strike to their carapace.
