Uncork some fun at this Victorian-style farmhouse winery, best known for its outstanding white wines, signature Brie bread and warm hospitality. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Temecula Valley, the expansive property accommodates a busy kitchen and tasting room, a gift shop and winery offices. Event areas include a lounge for private tastings, a historic (and recently remodeled) barn, tank and barrel rooms, and a park-like setting for picnics and receptions.

The wine list boasts an array of palate-pleasers, from the award-winning Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc, to delicious reds, rosés, sparkling and dessert wines. Order a glass or bottle harvested straight from the winery’s 75-acre estate vineyard, and featured under two different labels — Maurice Car’rie and (premium) Ultimate —  that distinguish the styles of wine offerings. Also try the venue’s popular mango or berry boozy pops, especially refreshing on warmer days.

Guests can savor everything from panini to a veggie burger on the Bistro-style lunch menu, including farmers and charcuterie boards, replete with artisan meats and cheeses and seasonal fruits. Not to be missed is the world-famous baked Brie bread served in a toasted garlic sourdough loaf — the perfect complement to the Maurice Car’rie tasting experience. Toast to it all on the farmhouse veranda or the big grassy lawn.

The tasting room itself has dramatic tall wood ceilings supported by heavy beams. The shop is packed with gifts, such as wines, jams and breads.
