Carlsbad Village Faire’s 2024 Holiday Event will take place from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Participating businesses will offer a variety of holiday cheer, including restaurant specials, shopping discounts, prizes, and treats. A receipt that day from a Village Faire business will put you in a drawing to win prizes! Enjoy refreshments and prizes in the courtyard, along with balloon fun and face-painting for kids! Gear up for a spectacular Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30 at Village Faire in the heart of Historic Carlsbad Village in Carlsbad. This quaint boutique retail center is the home of diverse restaurants, shops and services surrounding a family-friendly fountain courtyard. Carlsbad Village’s 39th annual Holiday Tree Lighting is set for Sunday, Dec. 8. As always, the tree is installed at the front entrance to the Village Faire shopping center at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive. The Rotary Club of Carlsbad sponsors this annual celebration, which begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. with the tree lighting. Santa will arrive in an antique fire truck courtesy of the Carlsbad Fire Department with his elf and Mrs. Claus. Enjoy candy cane handouts, visits, and an opportunity to take free photos with Santa!
