We’ll shake, we’ll rattle, and we’ll clap along to the beat as we dance to exciting rhythms with our friends in the percussion family!

Your family’s musical exploration starts here! San Diego Symphony musicians share their favorite sing-a-longs, rhymes, dances, and musical games in a series that introduces your youngest listeners to the instruments of the orchestra.

Designed for families with children ages 0 – 5, these interactive, fun, and sensory-friendly concerts are 30 minutes.

Arrive early for pre-concert activities in the Jacobs Music Center lobby for fun crafts and musical exploration, free with ticket purchase.

Transport yourself into a timeless story about friendship in composer and Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw’s musical adaptation of The Mountain that Loved a Bird by Alice McLerran.

This concert is designed for families with children ages 6 – 12. Please join them one hour before the performance for pre-concert activities in the lobby.

Join the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum for an exciting family jamboree to celebrate the spirit of summer 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8. The Summer Serenade will feature live performances, food trucks, crafts, and beer and wine for adults! $10/members, $15/non-members. Tickets This hands-on children’s museum in North San Diego County encourages young visitors to learn through play as they experiment with the forces of gravity, explore the lifecycle of butterflies and plants, engineer with giant blocks, and uncover a whole dinosaur fossil in the Base Camp dig site. 2. Sea Squirts: (Morning or Afternoon Session)

Explore diverse underwater habitats brimming with life!
Discover the wonders of tide pools, kelp forests, coral reefs, and the open ocean!
Engage in interactive learning through activities, exhibits, games, crafts, and live animal interactions!
Both camps meet daily at Birch Aquarium.
