See 31 historical aircraft up close at this indoor-outdoor museum dedicated to the history of U.S. Marine Corps aviation. The venue displays historical prop-powered planes, fighter jets and helicopters, as well as fascinating military artifacts, all while honoring the pilots who flew them. Many of the museum’s docents are retired veterans who share their personal experiences with the aircraft. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday (excluding federal holidays). Enjoy free admission (donations are appreciated) and free parking. flyingleathernecks.org
