Cherry Blossom Season Blooms at the Japanese Friendship Garden!
Imagine 150 cherry trees bursting into bloom with soft pink flowers – that’s just what you’ll see during Cherry Blossom Season at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park! During the whole month of March, guests visiting JFG in person will be able to enjoy the upper and lower areas featuring koi ponds, bonsai and hanami — appreciating the beauty of cherry blossom flowers. San Diego Air & Space Museum Offers Classes For Little Engineers
Design, build, and test your creations with Little Engineers, the San Diego Air & Space Museum's remote pre-school program on Wednesday mornings. March is all about "Architects & Artists" and explores the elements of art in architecture and engineering. Little Engineers is a hands-on STEM enrichment program that introduces children to science and engineering through creativity and fun. Each session lasts four weeks and is designed for children ages 3-5 with accompanying adult. Celebrate A Year of Live Storytime at the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum!
The San Diego Children's Discovery Museum invites families to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Live Storytime on Friday, March 19! Help celebrate by sending a video of your little ones putting their thinking caps on to education@sdcdm.org. The museum will create a special video and share it on March 19. Since closing its doors in March 2020, the Museum has offered virtual programming in an effort to bring accessible and enriching kid-friendly content to families at home during the pandemic.
