The International Air & Space Hall of Fame will honor two remarkable female aviators: Barbara Barrett, who is currently serving as Secretary of the United States Air Force, and Tammie Jo Shults, a retired Southwest Airlines pilot and one of the first female fighter pilots in the U.S. Navy, during a special Virtual Gala beginning at 6 p.m. Pacific (9 p.m. Eastern) on Thursday, Dec. 10. The Ramona Food & Clothes Closet will be holding its annual Share Your Christmas Program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17. This program has been serving low-income families for many years and serves local families from Ramona, Julian, Santa Ysabel, Warner Springs, Borrego Springs and backcountry areas.
