Free and open to all, a Community Mural Unveiling Celebration with artist Don Myers will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, outside the MainStreet Oceanside Office on Ditmar Street between Mission Avenue and Seagaze Drive. Escondido’s oldest and most famous event returns for the first time since 2018. The Grape Day Festival will return Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Grape Day Park.
