Waterfront Park Northeast Corner Active Recreation At 1 p.m. next Wednesday, Aug. 30, County officials will be breaking ground on a new project at Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego. The lesser-used north-east side of the park is being transitioned from a passive garden space to a garden + an off-leash dog park, basketball court, pickleball courts and more.
