Adults and families with children with autism can enjoy the Fleet's exhibit galleries in a quieter setting, an hour before regular open hours to the general public and with access to a special cool-off space. This spring, the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum in Escondido is inviting budding naturalists for a whole week of museum exploration. Campers will enjoy learning about the museum’s growing garden through daily art and science activities. View ‘Les Paul Thru the Lens’ at Museum of Making Music!
Learn about the life of virtuoso guitarist and innovator Les Paul in a new exhibit at the remodeled Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad. In "Les Paul Thru the Lens," a series of 24 photographs chronicles Paul’s early performances as Red Hot Red, his marriage to and work with Mary Ford, his explorations in the recording studio and with the electric guitar, and of course his long and influential performing career. The exhibit runs April 12, 2022 - May 31, 2022. The venue has four newly designed galleries. The Museum also presents live concerts by award-winning artists.
