The Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park plans to host its Children's Summer Camp 2020 throughout July for children in Grades 1-8. Professional instructors offer demonstrations and lessons for language, traditional fashion, etiquette, music, yukata dressing and much more. The Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park offers weekly Summer Camps for kids in grades Pre-K through 8, with both in-person and virtual camp options. The camps run June 21- Aug. 20. Hands-on science themes for kids in grades K–3 include Spy Camp, Magic for Muggles, Chemistry in the Kitchen and Gross & Gooey Science.
