Wings Over San Diego Special Event at the San Diego Air & Space Museum!

Wings Over San Diego special event at the San Diego Air & Space Museum set for Monday, Feb. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Families and visitors meet real pilots, construct their own planes and parachutes, and learn more about aviators from the natural world, including live flight demonstrations by a hawk and falcon, during this FUN, interactive event in Balboa Park.
A special Wings Over San Diego event is set for Monday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park.
During Wings Over San Diego families and visitors will meet military aviators, enjoy a Total Raptor Experience with live flight demonstrations by a hawk and falcon, and construct and fly their own paper planes. Other family-friendly activities include demonstrations by a bird curators, kite making, designing space mission patches, bird house construction, bee hummers, and airport runway activities.
Wings Over San Diego takes place in the Museum’s open-air Pavilion of Flight.
The cost for the Wings Over San Diego is included with general admission to the Museum, including guests who take advantage of the half-price Museum Month vouchers available through the San Diego Museum Council.
The Museum’s new special exhibition Da Vinci’s First Flight, which features over 30 stunning, large-scale replicas of Leonardo’s flying machines, meticulously crafted by award-winning artisans. The exhibition offers hands-on experiments and interactive exhibits, providing a comprehensive exploration of Da Vinci’s aeronautical genius also is included with the price of general admission for Wings Over San Diego.
