Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum Offers Cultural, Culinary and Wellness Classes
Start the new year by taking in the many offerings at the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum. Register for:
• Bamboo Workshop – Jan. 13: Learn the many uses of bamboo and sustainability. Journey through the garden, learning the different varieties and uses.
• Sushi Class – Jan. 21: No experience necessary – beginner and advanced students are welcome. @chefron.kitchen will go over the history of sushi, followed by a short demonstration on different rolls. Registrants will make and eat their own creations. A tasty class you’re sure to enjoy!
• 2024 Master Series – Jan. 25-28: Four workshops and four Kyoto cooking experiences available. Sign up to taste delicious food from Chef Ozasa 1/25-1/28. Start the new year by learning new artisan techniques, register for Kintsugi, Kumihimo, Yuzen and the lantern tour.
• Qi Gong – Jan. 28: Sound, Visualization, Breathing, and Postures/Movements. It is designed to assist you with increasing your vital energy, thereby improving your health and well-being. Simple and easy to learn.
