Experience a dinner that dazzles from start to finish at Blade 1936in downtown Oceanside! This modern Italian restaurant and bar serves Neapolitan style wood-fired pizza, freshly prepared pasta and succulent seafood in a celebrated historic newspaper building. Originally home to Oceanside’s Blade-Tribune newspaper from 1936 to the 1960s, the space was revitalized by the new owners, who paid homage to its journalistic history in the restaurant’s name, decor and menus. Pizzas created for Blade 1936 are all made with imported Italian flour, tomato sauce and cheeses, as well as oil made from olives grown in Italy. Pastas include Italian classics such as Pappardelle alla Bolognese, and Linguine alle Vongole. For those desiring special event service, Blade 1936 features two private dining rooms.
