Bazaar del Mundo’s Annual Santa Fe Marketplace in Old Town!

Celebrating the colorful cultures of Native Americans and the American Southwest, Bazaar del Mundo’s annual Santa Fe Marketplace is happening Old Town, just in time for holiday shopping! Happening Thursday, December 1 through Saturday, December 3 this year’s marketplace features five artists.
Located in Bazaar del Mundo’s courtyard (located at 4133 Taylor Street in Old Town) will be filled with exquisite collections of authentic Native American jewelry, art, crafts and décor from noted Southwestern artists demonstrating and selling their goods.
Art lovers and boho-inspired fashionistas will enjoy rare and stunning collections of sterling silver and multi-stone inlaid jewelry made with authentic turquoise, coral and other exotic stones, hand-woven Zapotec pillows and rugs, leather accessories, fetishes, storytellers, Pendleton blankets and more.
This year’s artists include:
• Phyllis Nieto and Harvey Abeyta, who are recognized for their intricate and painstakingly executed necklaces and jewelry from hand-cut stones and shell. Priscilla and Harvey grew up and live in the community of Santa Domingo, known worldwide for its talents in forming decorative items from stones, minerals and gemstones.
• Billy Jaramillo, who has been designing and handmaking stunning jewelry for over 30 years. He was taught by renowned Native American artists and continues the tradition through his own work with stones and silver.
• Kim Yubeta, whose jewelry is known for its blend of antique and contemporary components, different ethnic cultures and combination of vibrant colors. Her necklaces and bracelets are handmade in the U.S.
• The Squash Blossom Trading Post, an antique store based out of Ramona that collects and sells precious heirlooms, one-of-a-kind home décor and jewelry found at estate sales.
