Eight San Diego County regional airports provide domestic and local passenger services with facilities for aircraft storage, fuel service and maintenance:

McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad is a gateway to and from San Diego’s North County. It serves the general aviation community, corporate aircraft and commercial services.

The facility serves residents of rural east San Diego County and visitors to Agua Caliente Hot Springs County Park.
• Borrego Valley Airport: (760) 767-7415
The airport and town are surrounded by the 600,000-acre Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
• Fallbrook Airpark: (760) 723-8395
Fallbrook Airpark is a gateway to a village of 30,000. It sits atop a hill, and houses about 125 aircraft. Fuel and transient parking are available.
• Gillespie Field: (619) 956-4800
Tucked in the northwest corner of El Cajon, Gillespie Field is the oldest and largest of the county’s eight airports.

This tiny, unmanned, 2,508-foot runway airport is used mainly by soaring enthusiasts during the weekends.
• Ocotillo Airport: (619) 956-4800
The airstrip’s two runways, one 2,475 feet long and the other 4,210 feet, sit on a dry lake bed. Tie-downs are available.
• Ramona Airport: (760) 788-3366
The Ramona Airport has the world’s only helicopter museum with operational helicopters.
