“The H.E.A.R.T of San Diego” is Ramona, which is located 36 miles northeast of San Diego in the foothills of the Cuyamaca Mountains. Venture over the mountains and you will be in the Anza Borrego desert, playground for the camping enthusiast.

The Ramona Chamber of Commerce supports the local businesses with networking opportunities and events to promote their community and guests which includes, The Annual Community Awards, Installation Dinner, Ramona Open Studios Tour, Motorcycle Events, Ramona Country Fair, Taste of Ramona, Merchants Safe Trick or Treat and the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

Ramona is also known as Valley of the Sun, which boasts clean, clear air and glorious days of sunshine and gentle breezes. In Ramona, meet knowledgeable owners and taste handcrafted wines at any of the boutique wineries that comprise the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association. Serving the community since 1908, the Ramona Chamber of Commerce presents exciting happenings, including the Fourth of July Family Picnic and Fireworks Show (July 4); Cheers to the Valley (July 25); the Ramona Country Fair (July 26-28); the Ramona Motorcycle Rally (Oct. 5-6); Merchants Safe Trick or Treat (Oct. 31); and the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting (Dec. 7).
