Thanks to a five-year restoration project, the historic swimming pool is now a state-of-the-art attraction featuring floor-to-ceiling glass walls that maximize ocean views plus a retractable roof that allows for a climate-controlled environment. Swim in a sunlit paradise and enjoy the dining deck attached to the pool’s renovated Beach House restaurant. The heated pool is the largest around with seven (7) lap swim lanes, and a shallow area for family fun.

The Plunge offers swim lessons for every age, a masters swim team, aqua aerobics classes, recreational swim time, floating obstacle course and even underwater hockey! Life jackets, noodles, water weights, kick boards and exercise belts are available for use, as are two ADA accessible lifts for any guests with disabilities.

The iconic public pool is open year-round. Guests can purchase day swim passes on site at the pool’s north entrance. Day passes and memberships include the use of a sauna, locker rooms, hot showers, and the permission to leave and return all day. The beloved community landmark is also home to Fit Mission Beach, an athletic club on the second floor and outdoor roof deck.
