Enjoy exceptional talent and top-quality productions in an intimate setting at North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach. The Rep’s 43rd season continues with the heartwarming San Diego premiere of “The Heart Sellers” (Jan. 8-Feb. 2), centering on the budding friendship and dreams of two Asian women grappling with the isolation that comes from moving to a new country. The poignant comedy is followed by the emotionally charged theatrical event “What the Constitution Means To Me” (Feb. 26-March 23). This deeply personal and introspective journey blends storytelling, humor, and political insight. The spotlight then shifts to “Peril in the Alps” (April 16-May 11) a new Hercule Poirot comic mystery based in part on “Poirot Investigates” by Agatha Christie. The twin sister of Captain Hastings’ wife, Dulcie, has been kidnapped – and Poirot rightly expects not only extortion to follow, but murder! Late spring lights up with “Birthday Candles” (June 4-29), a touching play taking its audience through the highlights, heartbreaks and extraordinary moments that make up one woman’s ordinary life.
