The family-owned eatery has been a San Diego staple since 1952, when Sicily-native Salvatore Nicolosi opened his first restaurant. While well-known for its handmade pizzas, ranging from the spicy Sicilian Pepperoni to the Double Deluxe to the Blanco, the venue also serves classic dishes that transport guests to the old country, such as baked spaghetti, ravioli or lasagna, and a signature Sicilian mac and cheese.
