Mezé Greek Fusion

Share dynamic dishes at this Gaslamp Quarter hotspot, serving Greek-inspired small plates and entrées, plus handcrafted cocktails every day of the week. A major draw which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022, Mezé is where good food and good company are savored. The mouthwatering menu bursts with the flavors of Greece and the Mediterranean, all with a SoCal twist. Nosh on cold or hot “mezes” or “tastes,” such as hummus, baba ghanoush, feta and mixed olives, feta mac and cheese, spanakopita, calamari, falafel and gyros, all prepared fresh and paired with warm pita. Heartier choices include Greek kabobs, moussaka, lamb chops and the juicy Mezé burger. Not to be missed is the signature saganaki: a pan-seared kasseri cheese flambéed in smooth brandy tableside for delighted guests. Salads and soups, such as the traditional avgolemono, as well as the sinfully delicious baklava cheesecake, round out the offerings.

The restaurant’s popular weekend brunch is served 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sat.-Sun. and includes mimosas, Bloody Marys, fluffy omelets and baklava pancakes. Also enjoy Wine Wednesdays, when select bottles of wine are half price, and when guests may be entertained with close-up magic by Ben Silver, Mezé’s knowledgeable sommelier; and Thursday football, filled with palate-pleasers such as loaded lamb nachos served with pita chips. Happy Hour is 3-6 p.m. Sunday-Friday, featuring deals on wine, Greek beer and bites, including feta-topped Mezé fries, meatballs, dolmas and more.

Hosting a special event? Large groups and conventions are invited to convene on Mezé’s third floor, replete with a private mezzanine and bar.
