The owner has a commitment to excellence and the production of quality wines that often tell a story. He built Fazeli Cellars to reflect pride for his own rich cultural heritage, resulting in an ambiance that honors ancient Persian traditions, while paying tribute to the contemporary character of California as is reflected on the back label of all his wines “ancient traditions of Persia rooted in the modern expression of California.” At Fazeli Cellars you can expect to find superior wine, a friendly, inviting and knowledgeable staff whether wine tasting or dining, live music most weekends and an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and relaxed. Fazeli Cellars’ exquisite architecture featuring elegant towers, a double grand staircase, water fountains, and majestic Old World wooden double doors, all set against rolling hills and spectacular vineyard views provides the perfect setting for the most romantic wedding of your dreams. For that matter, any grand-scale event is handled with exquisite flair in Fazeli Cellars’ extraordinary banquet facilities, a state-of-the-art hall for large private or corporate events and even public concerts.

Continuing the goal of merging ancient Persia with contemporary California, Baba Joon’s Kitchen provides an extensive Mediterranean Persian fusion menu that creates a perfect wine pairing experience.  Many of the menu items were created by the owner reflecting his singular passion for the art of cooking and wine-pairing giving traditional Persian ingredients and dishes an original twist and modern feel. Baba Joon’s Kitchen Executive Chef  is a New Yorker who lived in Europe for many years, having worked at some of the top restaurants and wineries in Europe and the US. He has adapted the owner’s recipes and expanded upon the Fazeli family’s vision by incorporating elements of Italian, French, Spanish and Greek cuisine into the menu. This popular dining destination for locals and visitors alike is open Mon. – Fri. noon-5 p.m. and Sat. & Sun. 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.  and brunch served every Sat. and Sun. from 11a.m.-3p.m.

As part of the De Portola Wine Trail, Fazeli Cellars and its 10 neighboring wineries collectively host two of the most anticipated tasting events of the Temecula Valley Wine Country season each year.

The DWT’s Big Red Fest is held every April at the 11 participating wineries on the De Portola Wine Trail. This culinary/wine tasting event provides noshes from local artisan chefs and restaurants, paired with wines from each of the wineries.
