Learn more about the De Portola Wine Trail below, have a barrel of fun and raise a glass to a memorable time!

This five-mile stretch of wineries on De Portola Road hosts some of the most scenic views of Temecula’s Wine Country. Rich in history, the trail passes through Valle de los Caballos, which translates to The Valley of the Horses; an area surrounded by tranquil horse farms with charming white fences, scattered throughout the rolling hills of this picturesque destination. The elegant but welcoming architecture and lush vineyards of these nine neighboring wineries, create the perfect country setting for wine tasting with friends, hosting a corporate event or planning the wedding of your dreams.

The De Portola Wine Trail association of wineries welcomes you: Cougar Vineyard & Winery, Danza del sol Winery, Fazeli Cellars, Frangipani Estate Winery, Gershon Bachus Vintners, Leoness Cellars, Masia de la Vinya Winery, Oak Mountain Winery, Robert Renzoni Vineyards and Somerset Winery.

These primarily family-owned wineries are well known throughout the region for their warmth and hospitality. It’s not unusual to find the owners welcoming guests personally as they educate on their unique winemaking processes. They are always happy to share the lifestyle with others through wine tasting, special events, barrel room tours and sometimes just simply sharing a glass of their favorite varietal with their fellow wine enthusiasts.

The Annual Big Red Fest is held every April at the 10 participating wineries on the De Portola Wine Trail. This culinary/wine tasting event provides noshes from 10 local artisan chefs, paired with three red wines from each winery. These reds are the creme-of-the-crop of the new vintage releases. The similarly themed fall Harvest Festival — held every November — invites guests to enjoy three varietals from the 10 De Portola wineries along with delectable appetizers.
