If you are looking for a high-energy venue with non-stop singing to popular songs chosen by the crowd, then The Shout! House is the place to be! Guests 21 and over are welcome to the rockin’ dueling piano show — simply the best way to celebrate a birthday, bachelor/bachelorette party or any occasion where musical fun is the theme!
We had reserved a table which I strongly suggest, as there was standing room only on a Friday night. We were celebrating a birthday and our table was up front and decorated with confetti, as well as The Shout! House buttons and bumper stickers. Guests with reserved tables must arrive before the 6:30 p.m. show begins. Once inside, you can stay until the 2 a.m. close so I suggest pacing yourself on the extensive drink menu. The signature tropical paradise cocktail “Rock You Like A Hurricane” and the “Big Ass Beer” are crowd favorites.
The food tasted great! The Three Cheese Pizza was delicious and the Mozzarella Sticks, Home Style Chicken Tenders and crispy fries hit the spot. The Shout! House offers a full food menu featuring traditional bar favorites, as well as beer and wine. View the menu here.
The musicians did a great job of getting to all the song requests and engaging the audience to join in. Not only did they sing and play piano, but they also played the bass and drums. They are rotated throughout the night so the energy level is always up. They are a group of amazingly talented performers (and even double as comedians!), and provided an incredibly fun night!
At The Shout! House, good times don’t just start on the weekends. Make the most of the club’s no cover policy for Tuesdays and Wednesdays walk-ins. Then get ready to party!
Check out this Gaslamp Quarter hotspot that delivers a night to remember at 655 4th Ave. in downtown San Diego. The club is open Tuesdays-Sundays. Book a reservation here
