Health and wellness has never looked more appealing, thanks to the Willows Hotel & Spa, an adults-only, all-suites luxury property at Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine.

Uniquely, Willows offers a 25-hour room, allowing guests to arrive at their leisure, and check out 25 hours later. Guests who arrive in the evening can check out in the evening, for example. Additionally, visitors are greeted with a walk-in welcome (no visit to the registration desk necessary) by a team member who escorts them directly to their accommodations.

Guests may choose from six suite options – all beautifully decorated with warm neutral hues and metallic accents. All suites range from 600-700 feet. The Signature Plus King comes with views of the sparking pool below, a private terrace, a walk-in shower with dual showerheads including rainshower fixture, an array of comfortable pillows, robes and slippers, large-screen TVs, a relaxing sitting room and even a personal electronic assistant, Alexa, who can voice the time, temperature, order a wake-up call, and when paired with a smart phone, play music. Each suite features products from Whish Beauty, whose trendsetting bath and beauty products are naturally sourced, organic, and made in the USA.

The 8,750-square-foot spa offers such amenities as a salt sauna, private spa pool, steam room and outdoor massage cabanas. Of the seven treatment rooms, four are used for massage, another is a dedicated couples massage suite, two are used for facials and another for a hydro-facial experience. The spa features the revitalizing and nourishing Pear & Green Apple Sugar Scrub through the Eminence line of organic skin care products. Also take advantage of two hair stations, two pedicure stations and two manicure stations, plus a fitness center as well as full-service locker rooms. There is a $50 per-day non-hotel usage fee for the fitness center and spa without the purchase of a spa service.

Those wishing to take a dip in the saltwater pool may do so from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. daily; and enjoy poolside amenities like outdoor meditation and poolside massage treatments.

For palate-pleasing fun, try the hotel’s new restaurants including Ginger Noodle Bar, serving pan-Asian fare such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai and Filipino offerings; and Locale Kitchen & Lounge, a farm-to-table restaurant offering internationally-inspired cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients. Guests can also enjoy a pick-me-up at the Daily Roast, a coffee bar offering pastries, hot and cold teas and a selection of Starbucks products 24 hours a day.
