Fleet Science Center's Young Scientists program offers kids ages 3-5 a fun way to start learning and getting excited about science with pre-packaged materials and weekly video check-ins. Each four-week session provides developmentally appropriate, informal learning experiences that support and enhance exploration, create excitement and facilitate scientific discoveries. Check Out Autism Accessibility Mornings at the Fleet Science Center
Fleet Science Center 1875 El Prado, San Diego, CAThe Fleet Science Center invites the Autism Spectrum Community to enjoy early access to galleries 9-10 a.m. and an IMAX showing at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of every month. Adults and families with children with autism can enjoy the Fleet's exhibit galleries in a quieter setting, an hour before regular open hours to the general public and with access to a special cool-off space. Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy the museum all day. Admission includes a special IMAX film screening at 10 a.m. with the house lights on and a lower soundtrack volume. 50 Scientists. 25 Bars. One Night. All Over San Diego County. Organized by the Fleet Science Center, "Two Scientists Walk Into a Bar” is back! The next event is 5:30-9:30 p.m. May 5, 2022. The idea is simple: Two scientists are stationed inside a bar and the general public is invited to ask them questions in a low-key setting.
