What makes a vehicle iconic? Does it fill an important gap in automotive development? Is it indicative of a particular time? Is it a popular culture darling? Does it evoke deep feelings in its audience? What may inspire reverence in some might mean little to someone else. The San Diego Automotive Museum has on display a number of these icons for your consideration in its “Icons: Cars that Drove Our Imagination” exhibit from Feb. 2-June 1, 2020. Vehicles will include A 1969 Norton Commando 750, and a 1968 Mustang Fastback.
