The San Diego Museum Council is proud to bring back its popular program for families. Based on its huge success in the first three years, “Kids Free in October, Presented by Time Warner Cable” is back for a fourth year inviting families to enjoy free kids’ admission to nearly 40 museums across San Diego County with an adult ticket purchase.
Explore the hidden treasures of the ocean or the far reaches of outer space. Delve into local history, visual arts, botanical gardens, architectural treasures – and more – all here in San Diego!
Research points to the important role museums play in a child’s education, making back-to-school season an ideal time for exploring museums. “Kids Free in October” is presented by Time Warner Cable with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the San Diego Commission for Arts & Culture.
