This wonderful interactive center is closed to the public for now, but offers 30-minute virtual tours. Sign up here. Visitors can step into history and learn about the journey of the Mormon Battalion, which left the sweltering heat of Iowa in 1846, and completed one of the longest infantry marches in American history — about 2,000 miles — to San Diego.
