Enjoy an evening out watching Broadway-quality theater in Vista! And catch top stars and shows!
Moonlight Stage Productions kicks off its 2017 summer season with the triumphant love story “Aida” (June 14 – July 1), followed by the splashy Disney musical “The Little Mermaid” (July 19 – Aug. 5), the tale of silent movie star Norma Desmond in “Sunset Boulevard” (Aug. 16 – Sept. 2) and the multicultural musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda “In the Heights” (Sept. 13 – Sept. 30). Summer performances are held under the stars at Moonlight Amphitheatre in Brengle Terrace Park. Audiences may reserve seats or enjoy casual lawn seating along with their own packed picnics.
The Moonlight Presents series continues in 2017 with a spectacular lineup, including Broadway and film actress “Molly Ringwald in Concert” on Jan. 21; American jazz singer and songwriter Mandy Harvey on Feb. 11; and American male vocal band quartet “The Four Freshmen,” on March 11. All three performances are part of the Moonlight cabaret series, which will be presented on the enclosed stage of the Moonlight Amphitheatre — called “Club M” — with audience seating at tables offering dinner and bar service. Choose from a 2 p.m. or 8 p.m. show.
All performances are at the Moonlight Amphitheatre, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista.
